PGZ cast iron arch gate is a type of water stop gate made from high-quality cast iron. It has strong corrosion resistance, good water stop sealing, simple installation, and a long service life. PGZ integral and assembled cast iron gates are the leading products of Zhongli. They use machined surfaces to directly stop water, and the water stopping effect is significant. The gate structure is reasonable, easy to install, cumbersome to operate, sensitive, easy to manage, and corrosion-resistant.
Gates are control devices on various channels in water conservancy and hydropower engineering, widely used in small and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower, municipal water supply and drainage engineering, aquaculture, farmland irrigation and other water conservancy projects. It is used to control the water level and regulate the flow rate.
Generally speaking, cast iron gates are composed of gate plates, gate frames, pressure plates, water stop pins, lifting noses, etc. According to the construction method, it can be divided into two types: PGZ integral and composite. The gate, under the action of the hoist (manual and electric), slides up and down on the water stop surface of the gate frame to complete the opening and closing of the water outlet. Tightening the water stop pin can effectively fit the water stop surface to ensure the effect of water retention and achieve good water stop. The infiltration rate per meter length shall not exceed 0.03 liters per second.
1、 PGZ cast iron arch gate device and adjustment:
1. Before installing the gate device, first check whether the bolts at the connecting parts of each part have loosened due to transportation and loading/unloading. If there is any looseness, it should be reinforced.
2. Check if there is any misalignment of the water stop surface between the main frame and the attached frame, between the main frame and the horizontal frame, and between the gate and the gate frame. If there is any misalignment, loosen the joint bolts and adjust the water stop surface to the same plane. It is necessary to use a demand integrated device and it is strictly prohibited to disassemble the device.
3. Device adjustment, the foundation layout of the first phase of the gate project is reinforced with steel bars and a certain welding length is reserved. Before the second phase pouring, the gate shall be hoisted in place as a whole, all adjusting bolts shall be threaded and tightened, the correct positions of the front, rear, left and right of the gate shall be found, straightened and leveled, fixed with guy wires, then the adjusting bolts shall be welded with the engineering reinforcement, and then the clearance of each water stop surface shall be checked with a feeler gauge to ensure that the second phase pouring can be stopped at last.
2、 Daily use and maintenance of cast iron gates:
1. When opening and closing, attention should be paid to the upper and lower limit positions of the gate to avoid damaging the gate or hoist. If there is any abnormal situation during the opening and closing process of the machine, it should be immediately stopped and checked and dealt with in a timely manner.
2. During use, the machine components should be stopped from rust prevention treatment, and butter should be regularly applied to the water stop surface to ensure lubrication of the water stop separation surface between the gate and the gate frame during opening and closing. When the gate is closed, pause the gate for 1 minute at a distance of 100mm from the bottom, and then use the rapids at the bottom of the gate to flush the debris in the bottom groove before closing the gate

2. The maximum allowable pressure for the gate to press against the door frame is 0.1MPa.
3. The maximum allowable pressure for the gate to press away from the door frame is 0.02 MPa.
4. The leakage rate of the sealed working area should not be less than 1.24L/min. m.
